OREANDA-NEWS.  February 09, 2012. IDGC of the North-West, JSC is launching a pilot project for training electric power grid district (EPGD) managers. Today, on February 6, 2012, the first group of 22 EPGD managing staff commenced training under the auspices of Saint Petersburg Power Industry Qualification Upgrade Institute. The first overview lectures of the course “Management and work with personnel of power industry, fuel and energy complex, industrial enterprises” were participated in by General Director of IDGC of the North-West Aleksandr Kukhmay, Deputy General Director for Technical Issues – Chief Engineer Georgy Turlov and Deputy General Director for Development and Sales of Services Aleksandr Mikhalkov.

“At the end of training we would like to get feedback on how efficiently we have drawn the training program in order to take your wishes into account in future. We want to organize work for EPGD managers training on a permanent basis,” – said General Director of IDGC of the North-West Aleksandr Kukhmay when addressing the managing staff of electric power grid districts.

Prospectively, the company plans to arrange for managers of all the 125 EPGDs to take the training. In 2011 one allocated over 43 mln RUR for personnel instruction, further training and qualification upgrade.
