OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2012. The Ural branch of the Privolzhskaya Directorate of OJSC IC Allianz (ROSNO trademark) has provided insurance coverage for passenger transportation in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The concluded contracts contemplate obligatory motor third party liability insurance coverage of the owners of the transport vehicles comprising the motor fleet of the region’s largest market operator. The aggregate liability limit exceeds 400 million roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

ROSNO insurance coverage applies to the motor fleet of the Bashkortostan’s largest transport complex, whose buses perform over 14.6 thousand trips per day, hauling 440 thousand passengers on city, suburban, intercity and interregional routes. The total quantity of the complex’s transport vehicles performing passenger transportation exceeds 2,100 units, and 158 million people are transported per year on average. These contracts cover all of the OMTPL risks stipulated by the RF legislation.

Also, in addition to the OMTPL insurance, the AGO-Million voluntary liability insurance contracts under ROSNO program have been concluded, thus significantly increasing the amount of maximum insurance coverage under the risk of the carrier’s third-party liability in case of traffic accident.

At the same time, obligatory passenger insurance contracts have been concluded. ROSNO insurance coverage applies to the passengers of the intercity buses belonging to the republican transport complex — the insured object comprises property interests related to their life and health. The insurance coverage for the duration of trip is provided to passengers, tourists and sightseers going on intercity excursions arranged by tourism and excursion organizations.

The contracts have been concluded for one year.
