OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2012. ASB Belarusbank OJSC is to make money transfers in U.S. dollars and euro, in addition to rubles it had handled for some time already, through Sviaz-Bank’s BLIZKO system, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The network of BLIZKO system points operating today from Belarusbank’s facilities has 465outlets in all of the republic’s regions, including its capital city, Minsk. Cooperation between ASB Belarusbank OJSC and BLIZKO system began in 2009.

The BLIZKO money transfer system operates from 570 points in the Republic of Belarus, all within easy reach for the local population across the republic because of its low money transfer rates and wide coverage.

The system points charge commission of 1.3% to 2% on transfer transactions, depending on the amount transferred, and make transfers within the space of one minute. Transfers can be collected at any BLIZKO service point in the country of destination.
