OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service approved a petition for acquiring 100% voting shares of “SG-trans” OJSC: “Spetsenergotrans” CJSC, “Evrotrans” Freight Forwarding Company” Ltd., “BRUNSWICK RAIL TRANS (SAIPERS) LIMITED, “Spetstransgarant” Ltd., “NefteTransService” CJSC, and “OTEKO-Portservice” Ltd. At the same time FAS Russia issued determinations to the companies to exercise actions aimed at protecting competition on related markets of liquefied hydrocarbon gas and services for its transportation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier FAS received petitions from “Spetsenergotrans” CJSC, “Evrotrans” Freight Forwarding Company” Ltd., “BRUNSWICK RAIL TRANS (SAIPERS) LIMITED, “Spetstransgarant” Ltd., “NefteTransService” CJSC, and “OTEKO-Portservice” Ltd. on acquiring 100% voting shares of “SG-trans” OJSC. The companies are mainly involved railway transportation.

Currently “SG-trans” OJSC has dominant position on the federal market for transporting СУГ liquefied hydrocarbon gas by railway transport.

“SG-trans” OJSC is the largest carrier (16,000 tank-cars) of liquefied hydrocarbon gas in the Russian Federation. The company has the largest fleet of specialized tank-cars for transporting liquefied hydrocarbon gas.

100% voting shares of “SG-trans” OJSC are owned by the Federal Agency for State Property Management.

FAS issued a determination to “Spetsenergotrans” CJSC, “Evrotrans” Freight Forwarding Company” Ltd., “BRUNSWICK RAIL TRANS (SAIPERS) LIMITED, “Spetstransgarant” Ltd., “NefteTransService” CJSC, and “OTEKO-Portservice” Ltd. to exercise actions aimed at protecting competition and granted the petition filed by the companies.

FAS is also considering petitions filed by petitions “Yukos-Transservice” CJSC, “Gazpromtrans” Ltd. and “Sistema” Joint-Stock Financial Corporation” OJSC, whose groups of persons extraction and processing of raw hydrocarbons and are owners of liquefied hydrocarbon gas.
