OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. The State Tax Service and the Taxpayers' Association have signed a memorandum on cooperation and have agreed a joint action plan.

The Chairman of STS Oleksandr Klymenko herewith urged the business community to focus efforts primarily on the final eradication of corruption from the relations between taxpayers and tax authorities.

"Representatives of business environment with their civic activism, the struggle for the rights of entrepreneurs are becoming incentive that motivates us, tax officials, to be improved every day. We have learned (and continue to study) to react immediately to criticism," assured the Head of STS.

Also, the Tax Service and entrepreneurial public association have created the joint "Co-ordinating committee to consider of problem (controversial) issues in the field of taxation." From now on all possible contradictions in the relationship between business and tax officials will be considered with the participation of all stakeholders.

"I hope that this commission will become a kind of "tax arbitrage", will enable to an impartial and comprehensive study all the ambiguous situations in our relations. And, consequently, it will help making decisions balanced and coordinated with all stakeholders," O. Klymenko underlined.
