OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. Three newcities in Eastern and Southern Ukraine have joined the "Home Internet" network: Ordzhonikidze, Pervomaisk and Dymytriv. Thus, another 27,500 Ukrainian families have received access to the World Wide Web through the Kyivstar optical fiber network based on the FTTB technology (optics to the building). A total of 130 big and smaller cities have been connected to the service.

"Kyivstar" has expanded the network in Eastern and Southern Ukraine. Ordzhonikidze, Dnipropetrivsk Oblast, Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast, and Dymytriv, Donetsk Oblast, have been connected to the service.

At Ordzhonikidze 136 multistoried houses with a total of 14,280 apartments in there, have been connected to the "Home Internet," as well as at Pervomaisk 82 apartment houses with 8,715 households, and at Dymytriv 42 multistoried houses with 4,410 apartments. Altogether, another approximately 27.5 thousands of households have been offered a possibility to use the advantages of the Kyivstar broadband Internet on the most cost-effective terms.

Today the Kyivstar optical fiber network is covering 130 big and smaller cities of Ukraine. Each week the number of cities goes up. Overall, more than 42 thousands of multistoried houses with more than 4.5 million families living there have been connected to the Kyivstar optical fiber lines. The Company offers its customers the access to the Internet on the basis of the FTTB technology (optics to the building). The unlimited access rate is from 55 UAH per month, depending on the required Internet speed. Every month the "Home Internet" subscribers get bonuses in the amount of the paid user’s fee, which can be transferred to the user’s mobile account (Kyivstar or DJUICE).
