OREANDA-NEWS.  February 22, 2012. AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (“the Company,” Representative Director and CEO: Setsuo Wakuda) decided today to transfer store ownership of the Company and its subsidiary, AUTOBCS Three Arrow Ltd. (“Three Arrow”), to Auto Seven Co., Ltd.(“Auto Seven”), a member corporation of the AUTOBACS franchise chain. Details are as follows:

 1. Reason for the transfer
 As described in the AUTOBACS 2010 Medium-Term Business Plan, AUTOBACS Group is aiming to increase market share and improve store profitability by strengthening its franchise chain business in Japan.
 As part of the effort, the Company decided to consolidate store ownership in the Fukuyama area, to simplify the operational structure and increase area competitiveness and management efficiency.

 2. Outline of the transfer of store ownership
 Auto Seven, which is one of the Company’s franchisee, is taking over the operation on AUTOBACS FUKUYAMA-CHUO store and AUTOBACS ZAO store from Three Arrow, as well as AUTOBACS Hashiriya Tengoku Secohan Ichiba FUKUYAMA store from the Company.
