OREANDA-NEWS. February 22, 2012. For the last two months Ukrainians have been relating of the beauty of their land in the Kyivstar "Share your love for Ukraine" project. While in the first ten days of operation of the iloveukraine.com.ua portal 10,000 pictures were uploaded to it, over all this time the number of photos has increased eightfold.

Two months ago Kyivstar launched a large-scale "Share your love for Ukraine" project. Having started "from scratch," the project iloveukraine.com.ua website has won attention of 410,000 visitors, which is half the population of the city of Kherson. Out of this number 90,000 visited the resource from their mobile phones and it is almost the entire population of a nice city of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

During this time the number of photos uploaded to the portal reached 80,000, where 60,000 photos were uploaded by users through the website and 20,000 photos were sent from mobile phones as MMS messages. Even now, when you are reading this article, the iloveukraine.com.ua portal is being visited by 40 users who will upload about 10 pictures.

The visitors get special distinctions called "badges" for their activity on the portal. As of today, a total of 613 badges have been awarded. The leaders in the number of photos posted on the website are

Ihor Kvochka from Kryvyi Rih (569 photos) and Kyiv residents Vitalii (MorboN) Bondar (200 photos) and Alex_G (130 photos).

Kyivstar has launched a national "Share your love for Ukraine" project with the aim to unite the Ukrainians around the beauty of their land. The Company is urging to share impressions and photos about the picturesqueness of Ukraine at the iloveukraine.com.ua website. Posting photos is very easy: you can upload them directly at the website or sent them as an MMS messagefrom your mobile phone at a free 380 number (for Kyivstar subscribers).
