OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2012. From February 2012 remittances via CONTACT system can be sent and received in the 70 offices of RSK Bank, located in 48 cities of Kyrgyzstan, reported the press-centre of RUSSLAVBANK.

New CONTACT partner - RSK Bank - is the largest branch network bank in Kyrgyzstan, which currently consists of 51 branches and 20 savings offices and more than 40 visiting savings offices. RSK Bank’s regional network ensures the availability of banking services, in general, and CONTACT money transfers, in particular, to a large population of Kyrgyzstan, especially for people in remote areas, which is an important social task of the bank.

In turn, the connection of RSK Bank to CONTACT has allowed System to increase the number of service points in the Kyrgyz Republic to 1000. Clients can now send or receive CONTACT money transfers in 292 offices of System’s partner banks in Bishkek, Osh - 61, Jalal-Abad - 50, Uzgen - 24, Kara-Suu and Karakol - in more than 20. Due to unaddressed format of CONTACT transfers in Russia and CIS countries, money can be granted to the recipient at any system office on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

"Kyrgyzstan is one of the most strategically important countries for the presence of CONTACT. The country is for many years among the five largest recipient of remittances from Russia - according to the Russian Central Bank Kyrgyzstan quarterly receives up to half a billion dollars in the form of transfers from our country - said Svetlana Frolova, Vice-president of RUSSLAVBANK, the System’s operator. - Due to the fact that migrants sent most of the flow of remittances to the countryside and remote areas of Kyrgyzstan, a developed network of offices is the foundation of success.

Thanks to our efforts to establish and develop partnerships with 20 banks and financial institutions of the republic, CONTACT has one of the largest networks of service points and is a key member of the local market of money transfers. In turn, the connection of RSK Bank will further strengthen the popularity of CONTACT among clients".
