OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2012. Following 2011 results, annual output of electric energy by Minusinsk CHP made 499 mln kWh, which exceeds the index value recorded in the previous year by 56%.

The electric energy output growth is associated with the completion of reconstruction of Turbine PT-80, unit No. 1, that was accordingly remarked to become PT-85. Implementation of this investment project of the Company enabled Minusinsk CHP to increase its installed electric capacity by 5 MW. In 2011, the new turbine unit operated throughout the heating season, which led to the considerable growth of electric energy output.

It is worth mentioning that the reconstruction of Turbine Unit PT-80 Of Minusinsk CHP, unit No. 1, was one of the priority investment projects of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)”. The turbine modernization, carried out by way of replacement of an outdated rotor, was completed in December 2011. The turbine unit reconstruction has resulted in a 5 MW increase in the installed capacity, reaching 85 MW.

FOR REFERENCE Minusinsk CHP is a production branch of Yenisei TGC. The plant supplies thermal energy to Minusinsk City and the settlement of Zeleny Bor. Its installed electric capacity is 85 MW.

The installed thermal capacity is 330.4 Gcal/h (if taking into account the electric boilers 471.4 Gcal/h ).
