OREANDA-NEWS. February 28, 2012. Russian Telecom Equipment Company (RTEC) and the joint venture Crossbeam RT set up in 2011 by RTEC and Crossbeam Systems (U.S.) took part in the 17th "Security Technologies" International Forum held on February 14-17 in Moscow. This year the Forum which raises and discusses vital security problems attracted more than 10,000 participants from 12 countries.
 
 Sergei Seleznev, project manager, RTEC, took part in the "Security of Fuel and Energy Objects" section where he delivered a presentation titled "Complex Automated Security System (CASS) of RTEC – a universal solution for fuel-and-energy complex objects".  In his presentation Mr. Seleznev discussed the RTEC's concept of building CASS to protect critical infrastructure  objects.  He described the CASS architecture and highlighted its differentiators and major benefits. 

 The Forum was also attended by representatives of Crossbeam RT which specializes on manufacturing network security platforms in Russia.   A Crossbeam RT sales manager made presentation at the session called "Development of mobile communications and the role of cellular service providers in enhancing national and personal security".  The session was organized by Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) service provider.  In the presentation titled "Optimization of IT security infrastructure for mobile operators" he talked about the Crossbeam RT X-Series platform which helps service providers to optimize their operations, enhance security and raise performance of network infrastructure.
