OREANDA-NEWS. February 29, 2012. Seven KAMAZ workers’ names were entered into the Register of Russia’s Professional Engineers after the All-Russian contest Engineer of the Year.

The Engineer of the Year contest is held in Russia for the 12th time. This year it gathered over 40,000 participants in 43 categories. After the first round 800 finalists were left, including five specialists of the Research and Development Center KAMAZ. 
Three of them – Lenar Zaripov, Igor Valeev, and Andrey Zonov – received their awards in the category "Engineering Skill of the Young".

The title "Professional Engineer of Russia", certificates and awards were conferred to Anatoly Karpov and Sergey Akinin.

Diplomas and the commemorative medal "The Winner of the Contest "Engineer of the Year’2011" were presented to the finalists of the second round in Moscow. Among the winners there are two KAMAZ employees – Vadim Ivanenko who won in the category "Engineering", and Ravil Khisamutdinov who won in the category "Scientific and Technical Support".

All these KAMAZ employees try to improve consumer characteristics of KAMAZ vehicles and chassis.
