OREANDA-NEWS. March 02, 2012. In this new role Edwin will be responsible for leading the successful and growing PwC Russia Forensics practice, assisting local and multinational clients in a range of forensic and dispute related issues, reported the press-centre of PwC.

Edwin was born in the UK (in Brighton) in date 1959. In 1982 he graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern Languages and in 1986 he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with a degree. 

Edwin Harland has over 20 years of forensic services experience, specializing in investigation, detection and prevention of fraud, including procurement fraud, intellectual property disputes, asset tracing, fraud interviewing, computer forensics and conducting due diligence work in more than 40 countries.

Prior to joining PwC in 1999, Edwin spent 10 years with a market leading financial investigations company -now part of the international Control Risks Group. During this time he led teams on major investigations around the world, reaching the position of Director of European Operations (1997).  He was also seconded to Germany for 18 months (1997 – 1999) as managing director to set up and build the company’s newly incorporated Berlin subsidiary.
He regularly lectures and conducts training sessions on fraud related subjects and has written numerous articles. Edwin speaks German and French well, and also Spanish and Italian.
