OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. Uzbekenergo state joint stock company held a presentation of a software complex on delivery and payment of electricity for consumers - “Elektrouchet” (Electricity Accounting).

Chairperson of the Board of Uzbekenergo Batir Teshabayev said that Uzbekenergo and Fido-Biznes created the software complex “Elektrouchet”, which will allow consumers to receive information on payments and debt through internet or mobile phones.

The software complex will provide detailed and transparent accounting electricity consumption and improve data gathering. From 1 March 2012, the software complex will be introduced in Tashkent, Namangan and Andijan regions.

The complex will allow to increase efficiency and improve process of collecting payments for supplied electricity. One of advantages of the system is that the clients can pay for supplied electricity through payment systems of commercial banks, Uzbekistan Pochtasi, PAYNET and SMS-TO'LOV system.

Through online-technologies, the software provides information to consumers through personnel cabinet or SMS-message, as well as monitor execution of liabilities of electricity supplier.

Through web portal of the company, each consumer can receive access to personnel cabinet and receive information on current balance, payments history, etc.

Consumer can also submit application to call engineer or inspector, or ask to replace electricity meter. All these should improve service quality to consumers.

The system will be connected to the automated system of controlling and accounting electricity (ASCAE), which will be launched by 2015. The system will help to disconnect defaulters and connect them after they paid for electricity.
