OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. Kaspersky Lab announces the launch of the beta testing program for its flagship Kaspersky Internet Security product. The Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview is designed specifically for early adopters of the upcoming Windows 8 operating system from Microsoft, currently also in the beta testing stage. The technical preview version is available for all users, for a three month period.

Kaspersky Internet Security is the company’s cutting-edge security solution designed to protect users from viruses, Trojans, hackers, spam, and more. With its ground-breaking hybrid approach, delivering traditional methods of protection along with innovative cloud-based technologies, it is currently one of the most effective security solutions available, and an established leader in numerous independent tests.

The Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview fully supports the new technologies and enhancements in the Windows 8 Beta, including its special security feature designed to protect the new operating system’s Metro style applications. Another notable new feature is support for Microsoft’s new Early Launch Anti-Malware (ELAM) technology, which efficiently protects users’ PCs from complex malware such as rootkits and bootkits. Other enhancements presented by Kaspersky Lab’s development team make the product fully compatible with Windows 8, with increased performance and a redefined user interface.

The beta version of the Kaspersky Internet Security Technical Preview is available immediately. Users can download it for evaluation from the dedicated page - www.kaspersky.com/windows8. Beta testers are also encouraged to share their feedback on Kaspersky Lab’s forum. Although the beta version will be provided without conventional technical support, Kaspersky Lab’s specialists will evaluate all comments and suggestions on the forum in order to provide the best experience for all users when Windows 8 is commercially released.
