OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. Belarusians’ real disposable incomes [adjusted for inflation, minus taxes and duties] fell 1.6% on the year in January-December 2011, the National Statistics Committee said in a press release.

According to a preliminary report, individual incomes rose 52.1% on the year in 2011 to 165 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), while consumer prices increased 53.2% year-on-year. As a result, incomes rose 1.6% in real terms.

Incomes per capita amounted to 1,451,000 rubles in 2011, twice the size of the minimum consumer budget and three times as much as the subsistence budget.

The average per capita minimum consumer budget for a family of four totaled Br1,101,000, while the per capita subsistence budget stood at 706,880 in fixed prices.

Wages accounts for 65.4% of individual incomes in 2011, up from 56.1% a year ago.

Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 19.5%, down from 19.8% in 2010, and incomes from entrepreneurial activities and other income-gaining activities for 11.3%, down from 21.6%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – up 3.8%, down from 2.5%.
