OREANDA-NEWS. March 06, 2012. DTEK Holdings B.V. has purchased corporate rights of Bilozerska Mine Additional Liability Company. Currently, the share of DTEK Holdings B.V. in Bilozerska Mine is 95.4%.

 DTEK purchased Bilozerska Mine as the company continues re-creating the effective coal production system of Dobropolye. The mine will be integrated into the vertical chain of DTEK, and a plan of mine’s strategic development inside the coal production and processing business will be designed. In 2008-2011, the mine experienced a drop in production of more than half a million tonnes. DTEK investment is expected to help the mine to produce more than a million tonnes next year. In 2014, production will reach 1.35 million tonnes.

Bilozerska Mine ALC produces gaseous coal (G grade). In November 2008, the property of the mine was leased for 49 years by the Mine Bilozerska Additional Liability Company (ALC). The lease agreement was signed with the regional department of the State Property Fund in Donetsk Region.

 Kyivenergo, a company generating and supplying heat and electricity in the city of Kiev, is also part of DTEK.
