OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2012. Vagit Alekperov, LUKOIL President, and Natalya Komarova, Governor of Khanty–Mansi Autonomous District–Yugra (KhMAO), signed a supplemental cooperation agreement for 2012 between the Company and the District in Kogalym today.

Under the document, LUKOIL-Western Siberia will allocate RUR 1.165 billion towards the construction, design, repair and development of 46 social facilities located in Kogalym, Langepas, Pokachi, Urai and also in seven KhMAO regions.

In addition, the Company will devote RUR 50 million to promote physical education, sports and the implementation of cultural projects in KhMAO.

LUKOIL-Western Siberia will also support the Yugra Hockey Club in the amount of RUR 10 million and donate RUR 5 million to the Spasenie Yugry (Yugra Salvation) non-profit organization.

The Framework Cooperation Agreement between JSC  LUKOIL and KhMAO was signed in 2010.
