OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2012. Prime Minister Mykola Azarov called on business to work transparently – so the problem of VAT refund will be solved faster. The Prime Minister stressed on this during a meeting with heads of representative offices of foreign companies operating in Ukraine.

Mykola Azarov informed that the Government annually pays huge sums of refund of value added tax - last year it was paid twice more than in 2009 year. "We have achieved 70% VAT refund in automatic mode" - informed the Prime Minister, noting that the problem has not been not solved until the end.

"And there must be two-way street. On the one hand, we say: let’s work in transparent mode, and this problem will be solved much faster. On the other hand, we certainly require Tax Service that it work is efficiently and respectable company were transferred to automatic mode"- Mykola Azarov said.

The PM also noted that the Government does its best to create favorable conditions for doing business in Ukraine. In particular, the administrative reform has been carried (reduced administrative interference in business), it has been introduced a system of "one stop window" deregulation of business activity is continued (canceled 54 thousand different regulations).

"We will not stop on this. We do not think that we finished the work. We see serious resistance of bureaucracy, and, nevertheless, we are determined to bring deregulation to its logical conclusion" - Mykola Azarov said.

"We are ready to carry out the necessary reforms, all necessary measures by agreement with all organizations representing employers and working class and entrepreneurs" - the Prime Minister assured.
