OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2012. In the first stage of the modernization, the major oil recovery block consisting of various mechanical and physicochemical treatment equipment is going to be updated.

The following is planned to be installed for enhanced water treatment: safe power-driven grids, grit traps, oil separators and efficient state-of-the-art floaters.

The primary treatment rate is to rise by min 50% after the first stage.

On the whole, the modernization will include seven stages resulting in 135.4 cu m of wastewater treated per day.
