OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2012. UTair-Engineering Board of Directors summarized activities for 2011 and considered and approved a draft of the 2012 business plan.

UTair Engineering revenues for 2011 totaled 3.4 billion rubles, a 20% YoY increase over 2010. Revenues for 2012 are projected to reach as much as 4.2 billion rubles.

In 2011 the company carried out daily support for 290 helicopters in Russia and abroad, exceeding 2010 results by 15%. According to the plan for 2012, the company expects to service up to 300 helicopters, an increase of 15%. The reporting period was marked by significant growth of other industrial KPIs. The company increased the number of capital repairs by 20%, with 69 service cycles performed for helicopters of Mil family in the UTair fleet. Plans for 2012 provide for the overhaul of more than 80 aircraft.

UTair-Engineering is the largest MRO operator for helicopters of domestic and foreign production in Russia. Results of 2011 and plans for 2012 demonstrate the dynamic development and strong growth of UTair-Engineering. The main UTair-Engineering focus for 2012 will be to address strategic objective in fleet modernization and the development of new markets in Russia and abroad.
