OREANDA-NEWS. March 22, 2012. Kazakhmys Group conducted another meeting regarding the procedure of revalidating the degree of skill, salary increase and other current issues with employees of Zhezkazgan production site. The meeting was one of scheduled events being carried out by the Group's management under the process of introducing a new integrated compensation plan, reported the press-centre of KASE.

At the meeting there were nearly 200 workers representing Zhezkazgan copper-melting plant, enrichment units and mines. On the part of the management there were Eduard Ogai, CEO of LLP "Corporation Kazakhmys", Sergei Diyachenko, the general operations director, Vadim Oglov, general director of PU "Zhezkazganzvetmet", directors of plants and relevant departments.

The procedure of revalidating the degree of skill is the final stage in introducing the new compensation plan which is in turn part of a large-scale restructuring program for all enterprises of Kazakhmys started in 2009. In February 2012 a process of personnel evaluation began at Kazakhmys enterprises, which involves over 40,000 employees.
