OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. The consumption increased in coverage areas of all three power distribution companies of Moldova, the National Regulatory Agency for Energy informs. RED Union Fenosa increased deliveries of electricity by 3,1%, RED Nord by 2,7%, RED Nord-Vest by 1,5%.

The growth in electricity consumption in 2011 in Moldova was determined mainly by the 3,7% growth of the demand of non-residential consumers (industrial companies, farms, commercial firms, budget-paid institutions, etc), whereas residential consumers’ demand grew by 2% including 1,5% in urban areas and 2,7% in rural ones.
