OREANDA-NEWS. March 27, 2012. The US indices mostly rose on Monday. S&P 500 Index added 1.39% while Russell was up by 1.94% with Healthcare  (+1.71%), Technology (+1.7%) as the leaders. Put/call ratio was at 1.41 and 90-110% skew was at 9.09. Advance/Decline ratio was at 464/32.

Pending home sales declined by 0.5%, vs consensus forecast of a 1.0% rise.

Asian indices rose on Tuesday. Hang Seng added 1.81%, Japanese Nikkei was up by 2.36%. S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.9%. Chinese indices added on average 0.2%.

Import prices, Gfk index for Germany will be in focus in Europe today.

In the US S&P/Case-Shiller, CBOT Consumer confidence, Richmond Fed manufacturing indices will be in focus. The Fed Bernanke, Rosengren, Fisher, Duke are to speak during the day.

Earnings season will go on in the US with 3 S&P 500 companies and 9 DJ Stoxx 600 companies to report.
