OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2012. ZAO SibirEnergoTrade, a subsidiary of JSC  Irkutskenergo, has concluded an agreement with one of the leading real estate development consulting firms, MACON Realty Group, on designing a conceptual plan for the development of federal land plots. These plots are leased by ZAO SibirEnergoTrade and are designated for integrated development for the purposes of housing construction in the Irkutsk area of the Irkutsk region (no less than 230,000 sq.m of low-rise housing). Based on a research, the experts of MACON Realty Group will develop a comprehensive strategy for the development of the land plots under analysis including a market feasibility study defining the class and level of the projects, the areas, and zoning and detailed description of their technical and economic features. The experts will also offer recommendations on project positioning, phasing and sales strategy.

We would like to remind that on December 27, 2011, the Russian Housing Development Foundation conducted an auction selling the rights to conclude a lease agreement on the federal land plots. The auction was won by ZAO SibirEnergoTrade. In January 2012, the Russian Housing Development Foundation and ZAO SibirEnergoTrade concluded lease agreements on the land plots located near the villages of Patrony, Novaya Lisikha, Pivovarikha, Burdakovka.

CEO of JSC  Irkutskenergo Evgeny Fedorov: “Our company views the construction of affordable and comfortable housing not only as a profitable business but also as a major social project. We have already launched several construction projects including construction of housing for our employees and a kindergarten in the Solnechny microdistrict. Now we have reached a new level, and even at the preliminary stage it is obvious that the demand for low-rise housing is very high, as Irkutsk and the Irkutsk area are rapidly developing.”
