OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel (hereinafter – MMC Norilsk Nickel, or the Company) is summing up the results of its participation in the long-term target program of Krasnoyarsk Territory on relocation of citizens of Norilsk and Dudinka to more favorable regions of the country, reported the press-centre of Norilsk Nickel.

The program in line with the postulates fixed in the Quadripartite Agreement between  Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation,  Krasnoyarsk Territory, Norilsk Municipal Formation and MMC Norilsk Nickel, aimed at relocation of eligible Norilsk and Dudinka citizens to Krasnoyarsk Territory regions with more favorable natural climatic conditions signed on August 31, 2010, was elaborated during Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visit to Norilsk.

The program was approved by the government of Krasnoyarsk Territory in autumn of 2010 and launched in 2011. It comprehends relocation of 11265 families in 2011-2020. Participants in the program are families living in Norilsk and Dudinka, liable to relocation within the frames of state relocation programs and registered in municipal formation. The program envisages social donations for habitation acquisitions in the “main land”.

The Budget of the program is RUB 17.7 bln. The Company shall allocate a total of RUB 8.3 bln. The same amount – RUB 8.3 bln. will be reimbursed by the Federal Budget, and RUB 1.1 bln. will pay the Krasnoyarsk territory.

In 2011 RUB 2523.2 mln. was spent on the program. The Company financing amounted to RUB 1181 mln. The same amount was transferred to the Krasnoyarsk territory budget by the Federal center. The contribution of the Krasnoyarsk territory was RUB 161.2 mln.

1203 families received social donation certificates for habitation acquisitions in the “main land”. The principal itineraries of relocation were Moscow, Krasnoyarsk territory and St. Petersburg. By the end of the first Q 2012, 885 families-participants in the program 2011 concluded purchase and sale contracts on habitations and left Norilsk and Dudinka.

The budget of the Company for 2012 comprehends all the necessary allocations for the program.
