OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2012. Fujitsu today announced that Fujitsu Forum 2012, the company's largest annual event, will be held May 17-18 at the Tokyo International Forum in Japan. The theme of this year's Fujitsu Forum will be "Reshaping ICT – Reshaping Business."

Over the past year, the global community has faced a wide range of challenges, including responding to energy challenges and natural disasters, the revitalization of regional communities and the need to enhance the competitive strengths of companies in the global marketplace. To promote sustained future growth for our society and businesses, it is crucial to pursue new initiatives that are unconstrained by past approaches and assumptions.

The Fujitsu Group will pursue the continuous "reshaping" of today's information and communication technologies (ICT) with the goal of helping transform society and our customers' businesses, while also aiming to achieve further growth for the Fujitsu Group and its customers.

Fujitsu Forum 2012 will feature seminars and exhibitions demonstrating Fujitsu's latest cutting-edge products, services and technologies. This includes the company's initiatives to build safe, secure and sustainable cities; its approach to leveraging ICT to give customers a competitive edge, as well as the cloud and big data analysis technologies that make this possible; and the world's fastest supercomputer.
