OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2012. ARMADA JSC  (MICEX-RTS: ARMD) hereby announces the completion of a major stage in creating and implementing the Unified Interdepartmental Statistical Information System (UniSIS), which aggregates the resources of over 60 Russian federal government bodies, including the Interior Ministry, the Federal Migration Service, the Emergency Control Ministry, the Defense Ministry, the Ministry of Justice. The deployment of UniSIS by integrating information and statistical resources released by statistical authorities was among the key objectives of the Federal Target Program “Development of State Statistics of Russia in 2007-2011”.

UniSIS pursuant to Government Resolution No. 367 “On the Unified Interdepartmental Statistical Information System” dated May 26, 2010, is a unique source of accurate and up-to-date official statistics for the Russian Government, government bodies, public and business organizations, as well as citizens. Data from the UniSIS system will be available on the state statistics portal at fedstat.ru (in Russian), as well as through the Common Government Services Portal of Russian Federation. UniSIS’ data is also intended to be available through the “Management” State Automation System and other public information resources.

“The successful implementation of such a large-scale and high-tech project was a logical result of an extensive effort deployed by the team, which succeeded not only in sorting out a complicated task, understanding and implementing a solution in line with the highest global standards and using state-of-the-art information technologies, but also in breaking down all organizational barriers. The ability to establish a unified information system for more than 60 federal bodies using freeware is an impressive achievement in its own rights and a successful example both for our company and for the IT industry,” ARMADA’s General Director Roman Kruglyakov said.
