OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2012. A new expert, Jack Neushloss, a well-known specialist in the electric power industry, has joined the SKOLKOVO business school Energy Centre’s team. Mr. Neushloss, as the Head of the Electric Power Sector of the Energy Centre, will be in charge of conducting the power industry research and manage the consulting services related to the electric power industry.

Jack Neushloss, a graduated electrical engineer and economist, has been working in the sphere of the electric power industry for more than 32 years. He began his professional career as an engineer specializing in the long-term planning of the electrical power facilities and capacities. Afterwards, he, as an independent consultant, participated in the development of the policy documents and marketing strategies for governments and companies throughout the world, including such countries as the Russian Federation, Poland, Hungary, Canada, Mexico, the South Africa and Central Asia.

Since the beginning of the 2000-s, Jack Neushloss’s consulting activities in Russia varied from the issues of restructuring the power industry and the creation of the competitive electric energy market (including the preparation of the Government draft resolutions), consultations related to foreign operational and strategic business activities of Russian companies to recommendations on electricity tariffs for major industrial consumers, and other areas of activities.
