OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2012. On April 18 - 20 two “BishkekBuild 2012 – Construction” and “Power Kyrgyzstan 2012 - Power and Lighting” international exhibitions will be held in the Kojomkul Palace of Sports in Bishkek.

The organizers are the Kyrgyz ITECA-Ala-Too Company together with ITE Group Plc (UK) and Iteca (Kazakhstan) international partners. Official support for the events is traditionally provided by the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the State Agency for Construction and Regional Development under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The joint BishkekBuild and Power Kyrgyzstan exposition will present 42 companies from Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Ukraine and Uzbekistan are among the newcomers. It is noteworthy that producers are almost all participating companies (80% of the total number of exhibitors). The main pool of exhibitors is Kyrgyz and Kazakh companies. The exhibition area is 1100 sq.m.

The following are among the new products in the construction and energy industries in the exhibitions: hydro-motors and turbine generators for power plants manufactured by the Ukrainian “Electrotyazhmash” State Enterprise Factory, machines for crushing and serving of rock manufactured by the Russian “Avtokompozit TM Drobmash” Company, elevator equipment manufactured by the Kyrgyz “Liftes” Company, and warm-water meters and stop valves manufactured by the Kazakh “Teplovodotehnika” Company, etc.

Kanybek Narbayev, the Director of the State Agency for Construction and Regional Development under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, notes: “Over the period of 10 years the BishkekBuild exhibition has been contributing to achieving the goals in the construction industry of Kyrgyzstan. A wide range of modern construction materials and the vast geography of the participants have a positive impact on the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation of our country with foreign countries.”

Avtandil Kalmanbetov, the Acting Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, stressed the importance of events in the following words: “The Power Kyrgyzstan exhibition is a special exhibition held on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Power Kyrgyzstan 2012 exhibition gives us the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with new trends and developments in the electric and energy industry. I am sure that the participants of the Power Kyrgyzstan 2012 exhibition will be able to make recommendations on key areas of work for future energy development during the familiarization with the development of energy sector, exchange of views on investment attractiveness of the industry and presentation of technological advances.”

Marat Sharshekeyev, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, said: “The value of exhibitions is that local and foreign companies participating in them can not only show their products, but, most importantly, enter into long term contracts to manufacture and supply appropriate materials and equipment for customers.”

The uniqueness of such exhibitions is that the organizers of the events attract foreign companies for participation and have supported the high level of the event for over 10 years. Annually, the exhibition brings together hundreds of companies and thousands of professionals in the construction sector and energy industry.
