OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2012. In Q1 2012 the share of Ukraina channel grew by 8%* year-on-year with the average share hitting 12.2% and the rating of 2.22%. The channel retained its second position in the national channels ranking. Ukraina's share on 18-54 audience grew by 3% to 8.86% with the rating at 1.42%, which confirmed again the profile of the most rapidly developing national channel.

Sobytiya Nedyeli (News of the Week) with Andrey Danilyevich and Sobytiya news programme are in Top 3 projects with the average share of 21.09% and 21.01% and the rating 9.68% and 8.59% respectively. Sobytiya. Sport programme launched on 1 March has been a success as well.

Russkaya Naslednitsa (Russian Heiress) series first run on 29 January enjoyed the best popularity among the viewers in Q1 2012. Its average share was 21.07% and the rating - 10.33%.

Top 10 programmes include also Katina Lyubov (Katya's Love) series produced by Ukraina channel (shr** – 17.49%, rat – 7.58%) and feature series Tsvet Cheryomukhi (Blooming Bird Cherry) (shr – 20.49%, rat – 8.84%), Sobr (shr – 16.10%, rat - 7.23%), Yablonyeviy Sad (Apple Orchard) (shr - 17.51%, rat - 7.80%), Sled (The Trace) (shr - 17.72%, rat - 7.99%), Shaman (shr - 16.49%, rat - 7.62%), Pechali Radosti Nadezhdy (Nadezhda's Joys and Sorrows) (shr - 17.13%, rat - 7.40%) and a documentary series Tainy Zvyozd (Secrets of Stars) (shr - 9.33%, rat - 1.49%).

Ukraina would rank first by average daily share many times over the first three months in 2012. The channel is not going to stay complacent and soon will present new programmes Govoryt Ukraina (Ukraine Speaks), Gosti na Poroge (We Have Guests Coming) morning family show and certainly new movies including Interny (The Interns) comedy series.
