OREANDA-NEWS. April 17, 2012. TATNEFT participated in the twelfth inter-regional exhibition "Tourism. Sports. Recreation. Health Centers" held in Ufa (Bashkortostan). The Company's Sanatorium-preventoriums "YAN" and "Romashkino" as well as the Alpine Ski Complex "Yan" were awarded the diplomas "For a wide range of spa services, a professional approach to work at the exhibition stand", reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.   

TATNEFT was also awarded the diploma "For demonstration of tourism opportunities, cultural, historical and therapeutic potential of the regions of Russia."

The organizer of the annual event is "BashEXPO" Exhibition Center supported by the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for entrepreneurship and tourism, as well as by the Republican ministries: youth policy and sports, health and education. The coordinator of the project is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The XII-th Specialized Exhibition "Tourism. Sports. Recreation. Health Centers" has demonstrated achievements in various fields of sports, health improvement and tourism industry, allowing the exhibition visitors to evaluate new products and expand business cooperation with partners in the area of resort and recreation services.

The exhibition was attended by over 140 enterprises and companies of Bashkortostan and 14 regions of Russia. An extensive business program included presentations, workshops and roundtables on topics of touristic and regional natural history activities, sports and amateurish tourism in the region.

Social facilities of TATNEFT Company used to repeatedly become winners of international, national and regional specialized contests. This is a natural result of the systematic work aimed at improving the health of the Company' employees, preserving the ecology in the south-eastern part of Tatarstan and ensuring decent living standards of the region's population. In the market economy conditions TATNEFT has been actively developing the corporate social policy, implementing it in the framework of specific programs and projects for both its staff and the public in general.

Today, there are 11 sanatoriums and 13 children's health camps in OAO TATNEFT, where the Company employees and veterans, their children, as well as the residents of Tatarstan improve their health in a comfortable environment.
