OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2012. SORAINEN gained recently 4th place in Estonia's Business Service and Real Estate Enterprises ranking 2011. In this category first place was given to state real estate company Riigi Kinnisvara, reported the press-centre of SORAINEN. 

In the overall ranking of all Estonian Companies Competitiveness 2011 SORAINEN gained a respectable 118th place out of total 375 companies, whereas for example Prisma, one of the biggest supermarket chains, was ranked in 116th place and Elcoteq, a Finnish electronics manufacturer, in 120th. Among the top most competitive companies were big corporates like EMT, Estonia's largest wireless operator; BLRT, a shipbuilding company; Swedbank, a leading Nordic-Baltic banking group; and Statoil, a Norwegian origin oil and gas company.

The results of the ranking are compiled in co-operation with the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Estonian Employers' Confederation, and Enterprise Estonia. The Top Estonian Enterprises and Estonian Companies Competitiveness ranking is an annual publication issued since 2003.

Companies that take part in the competition are required to provide the following economic indicators for the past financial year: revenue, net profit or loss, expenses on workforce, investments in fixed assets, export turnover, equity and average number of employees during the year.
