OREANDA-NEWS. April 25, 2012. Peasants will receive government financial support for cattle feeding. The relevant decision was taken by the Cabinet of Ministers, amending the procedure for charging value added tax paid into the state budget by processors for sold their milk, raw milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, other products of animal processing, bought in live weight, as well as payments and use of funds received from its payment.

By the insistence of the Prime Minister a mechanism for subsidies has been developed to give subsidies "directly into the hands of the farmer". According to the decision of the Government, payment of a special budgetary grants is carried to individuals for the feeding of young cattle, which was born in households, and for the feeding it to a certain age on the date of filing the relevant documents.

Special budgetary subsidy is paid for the feeding of young cattle, which at the time of submission of relevant documents by individuals for the first time reached a certain age, the amount of:

- For the young cattle aged from 3 to 5 months - 250 UAH for a head;

- For the young cattle aged from 6 to 8 months - 500 UAH for a head;

- For the young cattle aged from 9 to 11 months (inclusive) - 750 UAH for a head.

During the session it was also decided to simplify the number of required documents. Thus, to obtain grants for young cattle farmers must apply to the rural, village or district councils only a copy of the passport of a natural person, identification number, passport number of cattle and a bank account. It was noted that the transfer of funds can take advantage of the bill, which the peasants had already opened to receive reimbursement of costs incurred for the weight of the purchased cattle.
