Mazda's total production volume in March 2012 increased 82.1% compared to March 2011 due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

 (1) March 2012

Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2012 decreased 7.8% compared to March 2011, reflecting decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in March 2011 increased 55.5% compared to March 2011 due to increased sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.
 Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.0% (down0.5 points year-on-year), with a 2.7% share of the micro-mini segment (down0.5 points year-on-year) and a 4.2% total market share (down 0.5 points year-on-year).

Mazda's total domestic sales volume in the period from April 2011 through March 2012 remained almost the same as the same period last year (down 0.2% year-on-year) despite decreased production of commercial vehicles.
 Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.1% (down 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 2.9% share of the micro-mini segment (unchanged year-on-year) and a 4.3% total market share (down 0.2 points year-on-year).
