OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2012. According to the National Bank of Moldova, an amount of loans extended uin forex in March, 2012 to individuals declined 18,5% from 19,98 mln. to 16,28 mln. leis, whereas loans extended to legal entities decreased 14,8 from 982,4 mln to 837 mln. leis.

The average interest rate on loans in forex was 9,36% p.a.. 0,5 p.p. down as compared with the previous month. The average interest rate on loans in forex extended to individuals declined from 11,37% in February to 10,98% in March, decreasing from 9,83% to 9,33% for loans extended to legal entities.

The lowest interest rate was registered for loans extended for over 12 months and made up 8,19%, including 10,7% for individuals and 8,11% for legal entities. The highest interest rate was registered for credits extended up to one month and made up 11,98%, including 11,98% for legal entities and 16,99% for individuals.
