OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2012. To avoid any possible claims to Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) in regard of credibility of the information on securities and issuers published thereby, and KASE member-related information, KASE  states as follows, reported the press-centre of KASE. 

In relation to the mentioned information KASE internal documents established the following norms.

In compliance with KASE internal documents "Listing rules":

- securities admittance initiator is responsible for completeness, reliability and topicality of the information on issuer of securities, admitted to the official list, its activities that are subject to provision to KASE;

- KASE incurs no responsibility in case an admittance initiator provides inaccurate or false information, or information misleading a potential investor in regard of issuer operation and issuer securities, or fails  to disclose such information.

In compliance with KASE internal document "Rules on Exchange Information Dissemination":

- The main way of dissemination of the information on issuers of securities, admitted to circulation on the Exchange is its publication on the Exchange site via publication of documents, received by the Exchange from securities admittance initiators and listed companies in pursuance of fulfillment of their obligations on the information disclosure;

- KASE is not responsible for reliability of general information disseminated thereby on KASE members and information on issuers, admitted to circulation on KASE, in case such information is based on messages and documents received from KASE members, admittance initiators and issuers in pursuance of their obligations to KASE, in response to KASE requests or at the initiative of KASE members, admittance initiators and issuers as KASE does not check this  information or documents for reliability;

Based on the above mentioned, KASE may release information in any form, including in the form of news:

- and uses only official information, received in the form of admittance initiators' quarterly and annual reports, financial statements, auditors' reports, data on listing shares and shareholders, copies of certificates, letters, press releases and on other possible formats;

- always indicates the information source;

- never checks reliability of the information, resting the entire responsibility for such reliability with the information source;

- never asserts that an event occurred, but refers to the existing information source notice on this event;

- reproduces the information word-for-word (with quotations, placing the documents with URL-links) or communicate the information sense closely to its original text;

- reserve the right to edit the information to ensure observance of grammatical and semantic norms and to ensure compliance of terms and phrases with the legislation and KASE internal documents.

The same principles are used by KASE when it publishes on its website the information on the financial market received by KASE from various persons (e.g., securities market professional participants and government agencies), interested in this information dissemination via KASE as one of the most efficient Kazakhstan channels of public awareness on the financial market events. Given this, KASE abstains from publication of the information, provided by unknown for KASE persons (including those calling themselves financial institutions investors or clients), which can not be checked by KASE and may be considered as insinuation, slander, unreliable or libel.

Persons, capable and willing to disprove published by KASE information, must address KASE with the corresponding official letters, considered by KASE at earliest possible date.
