OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2012. Andrey Favorov, former Director of DTEK Power Trade, has been appointed Director of DTEK’s Commercial Division, newly established in course of DTEK's management system reorganization.

 Mr Favorov’s Division will comprise all the trading functions of the Company: coal, electricity and GHG quotas sales. It will create an optimal value of the commodities along the whole production chain: from coal mining to electricity sales.

 “Setting up a unified centre of responsibility for the commercial activity will enable DTEK to enjoy all the benefits of the vertical integration. A strategic approach to this function will help us see bottle-necks well in advance and respond to challenges in time,” Andrey Favorov, DTEK's Commercial Director, commented.

 “The new model systematizes our operations with the trading partners in and outside Ukraine. It will raise competitiveness of our commodities on external markets. I am sure Mr Favorov’s experience will help efficiently use the Division employees’ potential and implement the best commercial practices in the Company,” Maxim Timchenko, DTEK's CEO, said.
