OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2012.  The number of POS-terminals of OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) for the year has increased by almost 30%.

The Bank’s press service informs that the number of IBA active cards as of 1 April 2012 amounted to 1,870,218 (an increase is 4.6% against 1 April 2011), cash machines - 637 (4.4%), POS-terminals – 4,167 (27.6%).

By early 2012 the number of Bank’s POS-terminals increased by 10%.

The IBA was established in January 1992 and is the largest bank in the country. Its main shareholder is the Government of Azerbaijan, which owns 50.2%, and the rest 49.8% belong to private individuals and legal entities.
