OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. Deutsche Bank is pleased to announce that Joerg Bongartz, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Ltd ranks nine in Top-20 Rating of Foreign Managers working in Russia and CIS published by monthly business magazine World Economic Journal, reported the press-centre of Deutsche Bank.

The top list participants are residents from foreign countries (excluding CIS and Baltic countries) – top managers of Russian companies working in Russia. For the rating were evaluated a number of parameters including companies’ scale and positioning globally and in Russia, participants’ reputation, experience (abroad and in Russia). Each parameter’s highest valuation was 10 points. Top-20 presents the participants with the highest score.       

Joerg Bongartz is the Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Bank Russia and Head of Global Transaction Banking Russia, in which capacity he manages the bank’s Trade Finance and Cash Management, Custody and other Trust and Securities Services businesses.

Being with Deutsche Bank since 1982, Joerg was Head of Relationship Management for Financial Institutions in Central and Southeast Europe, CIS states and Turkey until May 2006. In that role, he was responsible for the co-ordination and cross selling of all products as well as risk management issues for large commercial banks and central banks in the region. Joerg was also Head of Cash Management Sales Financial Institutions CEE/CIS covering USD and EUR cash products for all FI clients in the region. Prior to that he was a member of Deutsche Bank's Project and Export Finance Team / Oil & Gas industries and managed the bank's offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg for several years.

Joerg Bongartz holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hagen.
