OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2012. Hydromashservice, a subsidiary of HMS Group, signed a contract for the production and delivery of large number of pumps for Rostov nuclear power plant.

Pumping equipment will be manufactured by Nasosenergomash, another subsidiary of the Group, and is designed for the 4th power unit under construction. The contract provides for the delivery of feed and booster pumps that will be installed in the water supply system of the NPP.

Rostov (Volgodonsk) nuclear power plant is the one of the largest energy provider in southern Russia. The plant supplies about 15% of annual power generation in the region.

Earlier this year the Group has already signed a contract for the delivery of pumping units of TsNSA type and pumps of KsVa type for the 4th unit of the plant. In 2011 the Group launched a project for production and delivery of SE, KsV and KsVA type pumps for the 3d unit of the NPP.
