OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2012. According to trading on the MICEX-RTS exchange, UTair Aviation capitalization has increased by USD400 million and Reuters has listed UTair among the top 15 BRICS airlines and among the top 25 airlines from emerging market countries. These achievements follow a 15% growth in UTair capitalization over the past two months, reported the press-centre of UTair.

On February 20, 2012 UTair Aviation became the first private airline traded on the MICEX-RTS A list. The list totals 28 leading Russian companies.

 “The results show the growing trust investors have in us”, said UTair Aviation General Director Andrey Martirosov. “Increasing the airline's capitalization has been one of our top priorities and we are constantly working on this task.” 

UTair Aviation is the most rapidly developing airline among Russia's top-three airlines. In 2012 the company’s fleet will transport more than 10 million passengers and have logged more than 500,000 flight hours. Helicopter operations will be performed in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Africa. UTair performance results for the first two months of 2012 are in line with business plan, with the airline’s 2012 revenues projected to exceed 75 billion rubles, or 2.5 times results from 2011.
