OREANDA-NEWS. May 2, 2012. Belarusian and Russian companies have been awarded a 15% price preference for state-funded contracts, the Russian Ministry for Economic Development said in an ordinance published.

Suppliers of commodities originating from Belarus and Russia are entitled to a 15% price preference, reads the ordinance with reference to state-funded procurement contracts.

The price preference applies to a vehicles, construction and farming machinery, automotive parts, clothes, fur, leather, coated paper, livestock, pork, medical equipment, clocks, measuring tools, radio equipment, television sets, photo equipment and telecommunication equipment.

The price preference shall be effective till December 31, 2012.
