The initiators of the company successor exchange, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, KfW Bankengruppe, the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts, the Federal Association of German Cooperative Banks and the German Savings Bank Association, have concluded a cooperation agreement on this with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI - www.gtai.com) and the company successor exchange of the Austrian chambers of industry and commerce.

As a new regional partner of nexxt-change, GTAI will mobilise and assist prospective foreign investors for company successors in Germany via its 40 offices abroad. Prospective Austrian successors or also suitable successor companies in the neighbouring country can be found through a link with the company successor exchange, www.nachfolgeboerse.at. The Austrian company successor exchange currently has 1,200 successor offers and almost 300 successor requests on file in Austria.

From its launch in 2006 to 31 December 2011, the successor exchange platform nexxt-change, was able to help more than 8,600 small and medium-sized enterprises find a successor. Since its website relaunch at the beginning of last year, it has recorded about 2.7 million site views a month. To place an advertisement on www.nexxt-change.org, entrepreneurs and business start-ups can approach a nationwide network of more than 820 regional partners of this internet platform, that is, specialist personnel in the chambers of industry and commerce, crafts chambers, cooperative banks and savings banks.
