OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2012. Belarus is busy seeking an investor for OJSC Krinitsa brewery, which is currently experiencing financial troubles, an official with Belarus’ State Food Industries Concern told reporters.

“On Saturday, April 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Belarus was supposed to consider the situation at OJSC Krinitsa and forward proposals to the President’s Administration,” the official said.

Krinitsa is reported to have extreme financial difficulties, which prevent the company from servicing loans. The brewery is not in a position to continue borrowing, so the only solution remaining is an investor.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OAJSC Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
