OREANDA-NEWS.May 05, 2012. This request was voiced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova Vasile Bumacov at a meeting with head of Rospotrebnadzor and Chief Sanitary Inspector of Russia Gennady Onishchenko in Moscow.

At the meeting the current situation with import of Moldovan wines to Russia and measures to be assumed to remove barriers for deliveries of Moldovan wines and brandies to Russia were discussed.

The participants of the meeting considered additional measures to guarantee observation of the Russian sanitary, veterinary and consumer right protection laws as supplying Moldovan wines to Russia; matters of concluding the procedure of accreditation of the National Quality Check Center for Moldovan alcohols in the system of Rospotrebnadzor, reciprocal recognition of certificates, as well as matters of avoiding redundant certification to reduce cots of products.

In addition, current requirements by Rospotrebnadzor to the quality of Moldovan wines were discussed as well as the list of products safety standards, methods of their calculation, admissible concentration limits and regulations defining them.
