OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2012. Belarus’ average wage in nominal terms reached 3,159,600 Belarusian rubles (Br) in March 2012, or USD 389.8 at the monthly average rate of the National Bank (Br8,105.86/USD 1), up 6.6% month-on-month, an official with the National Statistics Committee told reporters.

In real terms [adjusted for the increase in the consumer prices], the average monthly wage went up 1.2% on the month. In January-March 2012, the average wage decreased 1.2% on the year in real terms.

In manufacturing, monthly wages averaged 3.568 million rubles, in construction 3.337 million rubles, in transport and telecoms 3.569 million rubles, in agriculture 2.204 million rubles.
