OREANDA-NEWS. May 15, 2012. On April 28 from 11:00 to 14:00 there will be a major ecological event "Make Ukraine clean! 2012" throughout Ukraine. Large companies and youth organizations, schools and religious communities, volunteers and all interested in their own living space and environment will come for this event. Filling station network "OKKO" is fuel partner that shares the corporate development program Go green!

The "Make Ukraine clean" project – a public initiative. Its goal – to improve quality of life by simple actions. It operates in the international social project "Let's Do It!" aimed to clean our home. This initiative has joint more than 80 countries.

Participants do not approve the acts of littering parks and streets, but they do not stop there. They invest personal work to make their settlements cleaner. Last year this event attracted over 22,000 Ukrainian volunteers who went along the streets of their cities across the country to remove litter. Anyone who wants to join the action this year may link one of the web resources (http://letsdoit.org.ua/, https://www.facebook.com/LetsDoItUkraine, http://vk.com/LetsDoIt_Lviv) and learn about the details.

"Concern Galnaftogaz" –filling station operator "OKKO" – joined the global eco-awareness initiative Go green! ("Go Green") in 2008 and since then actively has implemented the program "green office". Philosophy of "green office" is about specific actions aimed at saving the environment. The program provides the separate collection of solid waste and deposit them for recycling, management of transport and other resources, reduce consumption of water and energy and reduce overall pollution. The program established the collection of waste paper and plastic in the offices and filling stations OKKO and the dispatch of service vehicles, disposal of fluorescent lamps, printer cartridges, batteries and more.

At the same time filling station network "OKKO" constantly supports external environmental initiatives. We feel responsible for our planet, our environment and believe that together we can make it better.
