OREANDA-NEWS. May 17, 2012. Over January - March 2012, Ilim Group’s mills in the Northwest Russia and in Siberia manufactured 636,000 tons of pulp and paper products. The Company maintains steady performance against the similar period of the previous year.

This includes 405,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 1.5% percent increase as compared to the first three months of 2011.

The output of market board in Q1 was 172,500 tons, which was 7% less than in the previous period, while paper volumes increased by 15% approximating 59,000 tons. This includes 22,000 tons of sack paper, 30,000 tons of offset paper, and 7,000 tons of wallpaper.

Pulp cooking has grown by 1%, totaling 685,000 tons.

JSC  Ilim Gofra, corrugated box business of Ilim Group in the Leningrad Oblast, manufactured 29,400,000 square meters of corrugated board and boxes. The output increase amounts to 4%.
