OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2012. On May 28 – June 1, Expocentre Fairgrounds will host the 13th International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metal-Working Industry – Metalloobrabotka’2012.

The Metalloobrabotka exhibition is one of Expocentre’s innovation projects. It is organized in association with the Russian Association of Machine-Tool Manufacturers – Stankoinstrument.

The Metalloobrabotka exhibition is the largest industry show in Russia and one of the leading industry exhibitions in Europe awarded with the labels of UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

The largest forum of machine-tool construction Metalloobrabotka’2012 is an extremely important professional event, contributing to the modernization of the domestic industry and to the creation of a basis for the innovative development of the economy of the country. The exhibition has the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; it is held under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Government.

Being an unexpendable tool of the realization of important state programs in the sphere of high technologies, the Metalloobrabotka exhibition shows trends of the global machine tool industry and plays an important role in the cooperation between domestic and foreign partners. The exhibition has the support of international industry Associations such as VDW (Germany), AFM (Spain), MTA (the Great Britain), UCIMU (Italy), SWISSMEM (Switzerland), SST (the Czech Republic), TAMI (Taiwan), as well as the European Committee for Cooperation of the Machine Tool Industries CECIMO. 880 companies from 35 countries will put on display their innovations and achievements at the Metalloobrabotka’2012 International Exhibition. Germany, Spain, Italy, China, Belarus, Slovakia, Taiwan, France, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland will represent their national expositions with the support of the national industry associations.

The largest machine-tool companies of the world choose the Metalloobrabotka exhibition for the presentation of the science-intensive products. The growing interest to the exhibition of the leading foreign participants does not lessen the number of Russian exhibitors. This year more than 500 Russian companies and enterprises participate in the exhibition.

The expositions will occupy the area of 34 000 sq. m. The high availability of Expocentre Fairgrounds allows to demonstrate any energy-intensive and large-size equipment in operation.
